USAC Names Coler President & CEO, Swanson, Kruseman as Series Directors

The United States Auto Club (USAC), the Speedway, Indiana-based sanctioning body, has appointed Kasey Coler as its new president and CEO, effective January 1, 2026.

Coler takes over the position at USAC after serving the previous nine years as the vice president of track management and operations for the NHRA and as the general manager of Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.

In the new role, Coler will oversee all of USAC's motorsports entities in circle track, off-road, powersports and road racing. Coler becomes the 10th president of USAC, dating back to its founding in September 1955.

Kevin Miller, who has served as USAC's president and CEO since 2007, will step into a new role as president of the Automobile Competition Committee of the United States. (ACCUS-FIA), beginning January 1, 2026. The role places Miller as the American representative for member clubs such as NASCAR, INDYCAR, IMSA, NHRA, SCCA and USAC with the FIA and in Washington, D.C.

Miller will also lead U.S. Race Management, the USA's delegated sporting authority for FIA World Championship events such as Formula 1 and will be directly involved with all FIA World Championship events held in the United States, including Formula 1, Formula E, WEC and WRC. He will also be among the leaders working alongside lobbyists in Washington, D.C., regarding the political and regulatory issues that impact clubs, tracks, and the future of motorsports in the United States.

Additionally, USAC named Kody Swanson as the new series director for the Silver Crown Championship.

In his new role, Swanson, the most decorated driver in Silver Crown history, will coordinate with race teams, track promoters and lead scheduling. Behind the wheel in USAC Silver Crown competition, Swanson has achieved a record-setting eight championships, 49 victories and 59 pole positions, all of which rank number one in series history. However, as the series director, Swanson will take a step back from competing in USAC Silver Crown events.

Tommie Estes, who served as the USAC Silver Crown Series Director from 2023 to 2025, will transition to promoting Putnamville, Indiana's, Honest Abe Roofing Lincoln Park Speedway on a full-time basis.

The sanctioning body also announced that Cory Kruseman will take over as director of USAC's West Coast operations, overseeing all of USAC's racing endeavors throughout the western United States. In addition to Kruseman's appointment, Zach Zauss (CRA Sprint Cars) and Bronsen Chiaramonte (Western States Midgets) have been hired as each series' new race director for the 2026 season.
